A fantastic introduction to the basics of economics and how it shapes life around us. I think economics is an incredibly interesting but very very complicated topic - this book is very readable.
The overarching lesson is: The art of economics lies in not looking at immediate but longer effects of any act or policy; consists in tracing consequences of that policy not for one but for all groups.
