“We cannot change what we are not aware of, and once we are aware, we cannot help but change.”

  1. our feelings do not come from external events, but from our own thinking about the events. Ask ‘who would you be without the thought that you hated X?’
  2. we think, because the minds jobs it to alert us of potential dangers in our environment that may threaten our lives.
  3. difference between Thoughts (things that pop into our head).

    ‘Thinking’ is the act of thinking about our thoughts (takes significant energy, effort, willpower)

  4. it’s not WHAT we’re thinking about that is causing us suffering, but THAT we are thinking.
  5. Human experience comprises 1) Universal mind, the electricity, the energy in all things. 2) Universal consciousness, the TV, what allows us to be aware that we exist + aware of thoughts. 3) Unverisal thought, the DVD, the raw material from which we can create from.
  6. Allow thoughts to come+flow through us, whilst we minimise thinking about the thoughts that emerge. Takes almost no effort. We are only ever 1 moment away from remembering that we always have that infinite well of clarity, love, joy, peace + fulfillment.
  7. Anxiety is thought without control. Flow is control without thought.
